WELLS' FILM FEATURED AT 1ST ANNUAL DELRAY BEACH FILM FESTIVAL
Acclaimed director Aaron Wells will have his film "Rum With A Twist"screened at the first-ever Delray Beach International Film Festival, March8-12, held at venues in and around historic Delray Beach, Florida. The film is a short thriller about a weary businessman who stops at aneighborhood tavern to unwind, only to discover that the patron celebratingjust down the bar may be a dangerous serial killer stalking his next victim."Rum With A Twist" was filmed entirely in Palm Beach County. "It's an honor be selected," states Wells. "We had dreadfully limitedresources, but a terrific local cast and crew, so it¹s very gratifying tohave our efforts recognized in this manner. Especially at Delray's inauguralfestival." Festival events include juried screenings of films from artists from aroundthe world, a filmmaker's workshop hosted by "The King of the B Movies" RogerCorman, a Las Vegas Casino night, and a celebrity surf contest. Thefestival culminates in an awards dinner honoring Corman's outstandingcontributions to the film industry. States Wells, "I've always been a huge admirer of Roger Corman's work.There is no question he has been a role model for generations of filmmakers.He gave breaks to several Hollywood heavyweights including Martin Scorsese,Jack Nicholson, Jonathan Demme, and Peter Bogdanovich. I look forward to theopportunity to spend some time with him." Aaron has been a passionate writer, producer, and director for more than 20 years and only vaguely remembers his last "real" job. His diverse andinternationally awarded credits range from TV commercials to documentariesto feature films. A year-round Wellington resident, he continues to devotemuch of his time to independent film and television projects. He also sitson the board of directors for the Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum and Film Institute.

Aaron and Donna are both very cool people and do very I always enjoy bouncing ideas off of them. A true crossover couple, from the AVN Show to the Film Institute.
