Playboy Names Bryan Postlethwait VP Of Programming


PLAYBOY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP NAMES BRYAN POSTLETHWAIT SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAMMING

Los Angeles, CA – January 16, 2007 – Bryan Postlethwait has been named senior vice president, programming, for the Playboy Entertainment Group. In this position he will oversee the planning, production, acquisition, coordination and scheduling of all content targeted to the TV and DVD markets across the company.

Postlethwait joined Playboy as a consultant in June, 2006 during which time he led the redesign of Playboy’s Spice Digital Networks and the creation of the Club Jenna Channel, Fresh!, Spice:Xcess and shorteez.

“We’re happy to have Bryan join the Playboy team,” stated Bob Meyers, president, media, “His creativity and wealth of experience in both mainstream and adult programming are an asset to the company and reflected in the new SDN channels.”

Postlethwait joined Playboy after a five-year run at New Frontier Media where he headed programming and promotions and earned a number of Gold and Silver Promax/BDA awards for his work. Prior to that he was in charge of on-air promotions at the powerhouse KCNC-TV NBC/CBS in Denver where he was awarded a Heartland Emmy in the “Image :30” category as well as a Heartland Emmy nomination for “Best Sport Image: News Topical.” Postlethwait graduated from Youngstown State University with a BA in Fine Arts and emphasis on Speech Communications and Theater.
