I don’t know if there were any problems during the night but I do know that it was a pleasure working with the Xfanz crew on this party because they paid attention to the details and that makes a big difference when you are traveling with a crew of 5 or more people from party to party. Vivid's Chemistry Takes AVN Gonzo Of The Year

VIVID’S CHEMISTRY FROM TRISTAN TAORMINO WINS AVN AWARD FOR BEST GONZO RELEASE

LOS ANGELES – (January 16, 2007) – Chemistry, a takeoff on reality shows that films seven porn stars left in a house for 36 hours with cameras rolling but no script, won the AVN Award for Best Gonzo Release at the 2007 adult film awards ceremony.

Conceived and directed by New York newspaper columnist Tristan Taormino (she writes a weekly column on sex for The Village Voice), Chemistry was released in 2006 by Vivid Entertainment, the leading adult film studio. AVN dubbed the movie a “new-style gonzo.” It is Taormino’s first film for Vivid and Chemistry 2, is being released this month. She is currently at work on a new generation of sex education films for the studio.

Taormino, who was covering the ceremony for The Village Voice, was on hand to receive her award. “I was completely shocked,” she said.

Taormino is the niece of famed novelist Thomas Pynchon. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa in American Studies from Wesleyan University and is the author of three best-selling books and editor of 14 anthologies. She has been featured in over 200 publications and has lectured at top colleges and universities including Yale and Yale Law School, Brown, Columbia, Smith, Swarthmore, Vassar, University of California at Santa Barbara, Colby College, Sarah Lawrence College, and NYU, where she speaks on gay and lesbian issues, sexuality and gender, and feminism.

Fhraunze & Yawney Take On 2007 AVN Expo

FYA INDEPENDENT’S FHRAUNZE & YAWNEY TAKE 20007 AVN EXPO BY STORM AND
REVEAL THEIR FINDINGS.

San Fernando Valley, CA – Fhraunze & Yawney made a rare publicized
appearance as themselves at the closing hours of the 2007 Adult Expo and
capped the day by emerging at that evening’s annual AVN Awards ceremony as
witnessed by thousands in attendance.

“The sexual energy at these events were, of course, very intense and we
channeled into that mode,” says Fhraunze, the more portly of the two. “In
spite of the charged atmosphere, we found wherever we went people
everywhere picked up our sexual aura and we beamed back to them. Of
course, when channeling, we’re able read people’s thoughts.”

F & Y’s redirect of that energy to those in their presence, left all those
in their wake stimulated, yet strangely satiated folks. They admit some of
the images they read from attendees were even more provocative than those
exhibited at the show. Whatever the two saw, they’re not revealing to
anyone at this time. According to them, that information in the hands of
certain people would “jeopardize the space-time-mortal continuum.”

“Fortunately, the great powers of the universe entrusted us to use that
knowledge for the better of society,” says Yawney, “which makes our
creations more subliminally stimulating, resulting in a heightened
nirvanic state for the viewer.” They admit that it’s tempting to use
these images in upcoming videos, but they avoid any mind plagiarism. This
process helps “morph in” even newer transcendent visuals that eclipse the
mundane imaging efforts of mere mortals. “We tap way beyond the cosmic
and into the very core of creation,” says Fhraunze.

Even while moving among non-adult people in “Sin City,” the Fhraunze &
Yawney energy is overwhelming. While mingling in the Venetian Hotel away
from the show, a Texas lady approached the two and admitted that when she
saw them she fell under their spell. “You know,” she drawled in Mid Texas
lingo, “I don’t normally do this, but I just couldn’t resist you’all.”
When confirmed they produced adult DVDs, her eyes widened, her face
flushed and she gushed, “We got nothing like this going on back in
Lubbock. All we git is a bunch of ourselves lucky enough who just swap
videos we brang from Vegas.” Casting some aura her way, Fhraunze watched
her as she wobbled away enraptured.

In response to those who think F & Y are actually others in disguise: “We
did this to oblige the many that questioned our existence. We usually
take on the form of others who are radically different than ourselves, but
for this event we appeared closer to our actual physical selves than ever
before…and because we have such a special, close relationship with the

of those at the company, it was merely a reverse Doppelgänger effect,”
says Fhraunze.

California for a couple of more weeks before going back to the Himalayas.
Although they are going to attend other events they will do so
anonymously. Several in attendance at the Golden Globes said they saw the
two there, but those claims are unconfirmed.
